2021 was the 100th anniversary of Gabriela Zapolska's death and the 150th anniversary of the birth of Łesia Ukrainka. The Consulate General of the RP in Lutsk decided to honor two outstanding women of Volhynia, a Pole and a Ukrainian, with a poster competition that would introduce their characters to Ukrainian and Polish audiences.
Contest results
Painters, graphic artists and students from Poland and Ukraine took part in the competition. The first prize was awarded to Maria Jarzyna (Poland), the second to me – Karolina Dąbrowska (Poland), and the third to Olesia Baczyńska (Ukraine).
